Why I'm Running
As a parent, small business owner, and lifelong Wisconsinite, my passion for serving the communities I have lived in has always run deep. I bring decades of experience managing projects, people, and processes. I have led multi-million dollar projects, managed teams of analysts, and worked hands-on with legal documents, policy design, budgeting, and accounting.
Now in my third year on the city’s Transportation & Transit Commission, I will continue advocating for street safety improvements, expanded transit for underserved communities, and smart use of taxpayer dollars for road and infrastructure projects. As a member of the governing council of my daughter’s school, I have worked to balance the needs of our teachers and students, so our kids have a great place to learn, and our teachers have the resources they need to be successful. I aim to bring to council both an analytical mindset and a creative approach to problem-solving, allowing us to tackle complex challenges with innovative solutions and seize the opportunities that lie ahead.
I want all residents to feel heard and engaged in shaping decisions that impact our community. I’m committed to balanced, sustainable growth that respects Fitchburg’s unique mix of neighborhoods and rural landscapes while meeting the needs of our rapidly growing city. I will always listen to your concerns, consider your perspective, and be transparent about my decisions and votes. Through open communication and collaboration, we can build a thriving community that prioritizes equity, opportunity, and a high quality of life for everyone.
